Texas Rangers Golf Club, previously named Chester W. Ditto or C.W. Ditto Golf Course, is a Public 18 hole golf course located in North Arlington, Texas, just 15 minutes from the DFW airport and near the heart of Arlington's Entertainment District, featuring the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, and Six Flags.
The course was designed by Ken Killian and Dick Nugent and first opened for play in 1982. The course completed a $24 million renovation and was reopened in February 2019. With the reopening came rebranding, and the course is now named Texas Rangers Golf Club. The golf architect handling the project was Arlington, Texas, native John Colligan.
The course has been lengthened from 6,727 to 7,010 yards and has a new routing. With a course rating of 73.7 and a slope rating of 132, this par-72 course is challenging.
Keeping with the baseball theme, there is an on-deck circle near the first tee where golfers can hit a few drives into the driving range as a warm-up for the opening par-5 hole. It's perfect for golfers running late and needing more time for pre-game swings. Yardage markers that look like home plates are another homage to baseball laid throughout the course. Let's hope your round takes less time than a typical baseball game.

One of the least expensive of the Arlington city courses. Condition of greens tend to be rather slower than most. Decent practice course.

Layout of Ditto is unfair on several holes - you can hit the fairway, but the crown of the fairway can move your ball into the weeds on either the right or the left of the fairway.

The greens are in bad shape. They have been in bad shape for a number of months. They seem to be dead from killing or something going on since last year. Some greens have a lot of places where grass is completly missing (bald patches). Not much better today. Probably will wait for awhile before I play again. When course is in top shape, it can be a reasonable course.

Like this course as it is fairly challenging and well-priced.
